Only Klondike?!

Introduction

It's an afternoon in 1995.

You boot your newly installed DoorOS computer and open the README.txt file.

Two days ago, while browsing the Internet, you found a recruitment post looking for testing volunteers with a reasonable reward. After some clicking and typing, you entered a mysterious hackers' forum and downloaded this file:

Klondike.exe

But is it only Klondike...?

Only Klondike?! is a roguelite Klondike card game where you CHEAT TO WIN.

The game starts with a built-in Cheat Core, allowing you to break the rules and survive impossible deals. By cheating, you obtain QuanTified Bugs (QTBs), which can be used to purchase plugins and unlock more ways to bend the rules.

However, the KlondikeCasino is fighting back.

Your game is monitored. Illegal moves increase suspicion, cheats may be blocked, and severe alerts may trigger system scans.

How long can you survive?

How to play?

• Double-click the "Klondike.exe" icon on the desktop to launch the game, then select Game → Start Game from the menu bar.
• Play Klondike Solitaire as usual, but remember: the Cheat Core is active from the beginning. You can move cards in ways that are normally impossible.
• Cheating increases the monitor value.
• At high monitor levels, cheating may be blocked and the system may scan your game.
• Meaningful legal moves can reduce the monitor value.
• The game ends when the monitor value reaches 100.

Current Development Status

The current prototype includes:

• 5 plugins with different cheating and assistance effects;
• A complete gameplay loop from starting a deal to purchasing plugins.
